Ms. D's Carrot Cakes
Roles:
Visual Designer, Interaction Designer, User Research
Ms. D’s Carrot Cake is an upstart Philippine bakeshop specializing in carrot and chocolate orange cakes. Apart from their affordable prices, they offer various customizations and designs for their cakes. The website concept was to render a mobile responsive website for them as they primarily relied soley on social media to garner sales and marketing.

The website was designed with Filipino sweeth-tooths in mind. Foundational research such as interviews, and competitive audits were initially done prior to the ideation of the website. Some pain points include a lack of photos and details with websites in the past, overall UI hard to use, presence of bugs, and overall inefficient ordering processes.
Usability testing was also conducted during various phases of the development of the app to further enhance the app and fit user needs.
This website concept was rendered as part of my Google UX Certificate Course (Coursera) requirements.
